Language

Based on the National Cyber and Crypto Agency Regulation Number 12 of 2019 concerning Organization and Work Procedures of the National Cyber and Crypto Polytechnic, the Language Unit is one of the supporting units at the National Cyber and Crypto Polytechnic (SSN Polytechnic), which is a supporting element for the implementation of higher education tridharma activities. The Language Unit is in charge of managing language proficiency improvement services.

In providing language skills improvement services for SSN Poltek Cadets, the Language Unit works closely with service providers with good reputations and track records. The process of providing this service begins with implementation placement test to test the abilities of SSN Polytechnic Cadets, so that the language proficiency improvement programs provided can be curated and adapted to the skill profile of each Cadets. Until now, the language proficiency improvement programs provided for Cadets include: General English Conversations, English Conversations with Business Context, Academic Englishand TOEFL Preparation. Previously, several other programs provided included Active Reading, Tense Buster, Study Skills, dan Road to IELTS.

In addition to providing services for improving the language skills of SSN Poltek Cadets, the Language Unit also plays a role in improving the language skills of the academic community, including lecturers and education staff. Among the programs held are: English for Academic Administration which is intended for SSN Polytechnic educational staff. The Language Unit also provides translation and editing services for scientific papers to be submitted or published, including scientific articles for conferences, journals or official releases. In the context of cooperation between the SSN Polytechnic and various institutions both from within and outside the country, the Language Unit also plays a role in translation and/or language switching activities in activities involving participants and/or stakeholder dari luar negeri.
